This is the oldest monastery in Capri, built-in 1371 at the will of Count Giacomo Arcucci on land donated by Queen Giovanna I D ' Angiò, the monastery houses the museum dedicated to the German painter Karl Diefenbach. You certainly cannot miss this historical bastion

This villa dedicated to Jupiter by the Roman Emperor Tiberius, is one of the best-preserved examples of Roman architecture in the Mediterranean. It is not the only residence that the Emperor had built-in Capri, but it certainly represents one of the grandest: it is a building that spans 7 square kilometres on the far eastern promontory of Capri. You can visit the remains, in the centre there are large cisterns for collecting rainwater and around it, there are a series of rooms that were divided between those reserved for the emperor and those for collaborators, slaves and the throne room. The remains of the Villa were looted in Bourbon times, but the villa was recovered in 1932 thanks to the intervention of Amedeo Maiuri, at that time director of the Naples Archaeological Museum.

You can reach the beaches of Capri in a few minutes from the port. On the opposite side of the island, you will also find the shores of Marina Piccola, which can be reached by walking through the centre or by bus. Here, too, there are two free beaches and several equipped facilities, it is one of the most visited areas of Capri.
