Casa Loma is a Gothic Revival style mansion and the former largest private residence in Canada. It is situated in midtown Toronto and you can do a tour of the majestic 18th-century castle. The architecture of the building is marvellous and the inside boasts spectacular artistic little details and decorations. Walk through the luxurious rooms of the mansion and learn about the history of its former inhabitants. The grounds are so massive that you’ll want to set aside at least a few hours to see it all!

Algonquin Provincial Park is a stunningly beautiful natural area with thousands of lakes, rivers, and vast woodlands. The park is home to moose, bear, and over 1,000 plant species. Go for a dip in a lake, spot local species of birds, go for a hike, and take a canoe out on the water!

Manitoulin Island is situated in Lake Huron and is the largest island in a freshwater lake on Earth! Explore the island landscapes via the Cup and Saucer Trail. Hike to the cascading and scenic Bridal Falls and take a dip in the clear waters of Providence Bay Beach. After a long day of exploring, stop by Manitoulin Brewing Company for a refreshing pint of craft beer.

Visit the Rideau Canal in Ottawa, which is one of the most attractive landmarks in the city. Go for a scenic walk along the canal path which passes under picturesque bridges, and alongside some of the most beautiful architecture in the city. You can also hire bicycles to explore the path or hire a boat to explore the canal from the water. During the winter months, the canal freezes, and it turns into a popular place for ice-skating!

The stunning shoreline of Agate Island Beach has been called one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Agate is a sort of quartz rock, and the beach here is covered in a stunning layer of the sparkly gems. Go for a dip in the crystal clear blue waters here and bring a beach towel to sunbathe on the shoreline during the warm summer months.

Lake Erie is a popular place for holidaymakers to relax with its many beaches and attractive landscapes. Head over to the sandy shores at Long Point Provincial Park, where you can sunbathe and relax when the weather is warm. Do a tour of Old Fort Erie to learn about the history of the area and its role in the War of 1812. Go to Point Pelee National Park for bird-watching, woodland walks, and swims at the pristine beach.
