Siat has been part of the new municipality of Ilanz/Glion since 2014. The village lies in a terraced hollow on the sunny side of the Surselva. The marvellous view of the surrounding mountains is indescribable. The Maiensäss is suitable for anyone looking for peace and relaxation in the unique mountain world of the Surselva. Young couples as well as senior citizens, families with children or active guests will get their money's worth in Camona. The Maiensäss Camona Siat is a beautiful holiday accommodation in all seasons. On the west side of the cottage there is a forest with a path leading to a small mountain stream, suitable for young and old explorers. The village shop in Siat is open Monday to Saturday. There are more shops and shopping centres in the small town of Ilanz, about 10 kilometres away. There is a freely accessible car park in Siat. The walk to Camona takes about 15 minutes in summer and about 30 minutes in winter, depending on the amount of snow. There is also a car park at the Maiensäss, but a permit from the municipality of Ilanz/Glion is required to drive to the cottage. This can be obtained during office opening hours from the municipality of Ilanz/Glion or from the holiday apartment landlord. Non-smoking accommodation. Pets are allowed. Description of the unit
Bedrooms: Two unheated bedrooms at the back of the hut, each with a double bunk bed (140 cm), duvets and pillows are provided. Bed linen available and included in the price. It is also possible to bring your own sleeping bag, please let us know when booking. Kitchen / living room: Well-equipped kitchen with cold running mountain spring water, gas hob, oven and wood-burning cooker (gas, wood and cleaning products are available and included in the price). The extendable table with corner bench and 3 chairs can accommodate up to 8 people for a cosy get-together. A "natural refrigerator", a stainless steel tub, is located in the floor of the living room. Kitchen linen available and included in the price. There are various books and magazines as well as games for indoors and outdoors. Everything can be read and played with care. Bathroom: The toilet and washbasin with running water offer true luxury in this mountain world. The shower is located outside the chalet. Shower with a unique panorama! Please bring your own towels. Miscellaneous: Outside there are various deckchairs, seating, two large tables with bench seats, sun blinds, a mobile parasol and a barbecue. So you can enjoy the peace, sun and view to the full. To cool off, there is a wooden fountain with marvellous mountain spring water right in front of the house. The power supply is generated by a solar panel. There is light in every room. Electronic devices can be charged using the appropriate connection cable. Some adapters and the most common charging cables for mobile phones are available. The final cleaning must be carried out by the tenant, any subsequent cleaning will be charged to the tenant on site. A waste disposal bag (35 litres) is included, others can be obtained on handover.
